We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

President Obama, Defend Your Daughters

Yesterday, as Politico put it, "Leave it to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to one-up Rush Limbaugh in the name-calling department."



"Speaking of prostitutes, big oil's top call girl Sen Inhofe wants to kill fuel economy backed by automakers, small biz, enviros, & consumers," the New York-based environmentalist wrote Tuesday on Twitter.


Kennedy was targeting Inhofe for a letter the Oklahoma Republican sent last week to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson that questions the Obama administration's fuel economy and air pollution policies.


Eagerly awaiting President Obama's denunciation of a Kennedy. After all, according to Obama, it's supposed to be for Obama's daughters' sake, isn't it, to clean up political discourse?


But, Obama is a no-show in speaking against misogynist War On Conservative Women.

Like father, like son. Robert Kennedy was one of the meanest, nastiest SOBs ever to walk the halls of the White House in service of the rest of the Kennedy Mafia (who, btw, almost convinced his brother Jack to start World War III over the Cuban missile crisis, were it not for cooler heads who advised diplomacy rather than belligerency).
