We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
You really don't need psychology text books to figure life out and to stay on the straight and narrow. All you need are stories like this. The story line is that a University of Idaho Psychology professor gets intimately involved with students and then shoots one of his students at her home and after checking in to Moscow's nicest motel shoots himself.
It is really a twisted tale with the University trying to put the blame elsewhere and more and more deviant behavior by all involved being exposed via public records requests by news agencies and subpoena by the County Prosecutor.
Perhaps someone can write a doctoral thesis on the crazy things that psychologists do to other people.
