We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Last night I watched the Fast Five movie (latest in the Vin Diesel franchise). It had lotsa good driving sounds and, of course, good driving action scenes. Below is my favorite from Fast Five. Before you get to that, here's Rihanna, in the spirit:
Looks like precisely the kind of movie I'll never get my wife to go to see with me; cars, boobs, violence and a requirement for the attention span of a gnat.
Sorry folks,
Now you know what kind of Monday I had.

After watching "The Transporter", which I thought was very lively and entertaining, I decided my life was incomplete without a soundtrack.
In fact, everyone should have a soundtrack.
I still haven't gotten around to putting mine together.
I just can't get my mind around the "Fast" movies. Not sure the entertainment is there. There are too many other films and movies I've got to see first.
Film noir, in general, remains a half opened book for me.
Skynyrd's Gimme Three Steps got me redlining the tach more than a few times back on those old country roads.
But Don Omar kickin' the Reggaeton y Hip-Hop. Oye! ¿Es fantasico, si? I have to admit, my drive experience with este musica is limited to driving Suzuki Samurai in the Caribbean, (but I drove it hard).
