We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Hinckley Picnic boats. We live in the Lowcountry of SC and the husband and I go back and forth in our day dreams of the Picnic boat or the Fleming 55. Quite a disparity I'm aware - but both have such appeal. I guess by the time we have the scratch to afford one we'll be too old to operate them anyway.
The red one is a 36' Picnic and the dark hull is a 24' Picnic Classic. I might be off on the size as I'm on the Droid at the moment. Can't see the third one.
The flag blue hull is an older Picnic (not the extended pilot house). @addison-I think you are right but I have to say the talaria 40 looking at stern and pilot house, both have 3 portholes below deck.
Daddy's and son's... it's a picnic boat pretty yes.. functional no.. and a real yachty.. though appreciating the finer qualities of the Hinckley... would go for the bermuda 40 or a S' wester's etc... sure you can argue these are yachts.. but... it's a pompous waste of $$ and frankly I think they SHOULD be paying more in taxes!...
