Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

No doubt about it. China's influence is swelling.

Too bad the Chinese are short a hundred million of those beauties to meet the marital needs of their male-dominated society, having murdered their sisters a couple of decades or so ago to get that "must-have" male offspring. Perhaps the Chinese could eliminate the Muslim men and take their women, which would solve a lot of problems. Submission shouldn't be a problem, and we would finally get to see what's under those all-purpose black sacks. Then again, the Chinese men might put the sacks back on after getting a peek.

THE most beautiful woman I have ever seen took her burqha off because she was trying to change the baby's diaper in a lady's room without one of those diaper tables. This mom was BEAUTIFUL. When baby duties were done, back on went the burqha!

Funny as heck, along these lines:

The wife and I turned on a Wimbledon women's match today, and the first thing the wife says to me is, "Is it chilly there or something?!" Because both of the women's... uhhh... how to put this delicately... it just looked a little nippy in there, if you know what I mean!

We thought Wimbledon had certain standards of dress and conduct...
