Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Thanks for wasting hours of my life, Bird Dog. The Teddy Roosevelt/football video was so interesting, I went off on a web-surfing tangent around the history of football.

I can't believe a politician has been dishonest rather than wrong.

A better reading is Obama insults your intelligence, but it doesn't matter because women vote.

Mormitt has always been out of his mind and he's obviously not gonna change this year.

He says, Over the last two years, the president’s job was to repair the economy and to make us safer. He has failed at both but at least he appeared to be trying — his failures were arguably attributable to inexperience, misguidance, and incompetence.

Mudboy has been perpetually dishonest and Mormitt comes in a close second.
