Presently, the piety of Mormon faithful is being mocked with song and dance blasphemy, but most reviewers assert that if they dare be offended they are not in on the joke. Many go out of their way to show that the stage show actually supports true piety, because play reviewers know all about true piety.
Evidently mocking a thing your neighbor loves is acceptable in the name of art, but horrific in the name of religion.
