We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Over the transom:

Nor can this amazing press seem to follow the "PROJECT GUN-WALKER" debacle.
Nor can the ATF, DoJ or the State Department seem to find the documents requested by Congressman Issa or Senator Grassley.
I wish you would do some reporting on this disaster. It could play a huge role in ending BHO's plans for re-election.
I am not much on conspiracies, but I must admit that I occasionally wonder if The Manchurian Candidate has been used for an operational model.
Gwynnie--the point you are trying to make is very important, so let's make sure we get the facts straight. Mrs.O's thesis was available for about two weeks after the subject came up. You can of course go to the school library where she submitted the thesis for examination. They are required by law to make that thesis available to the public. If they do not comply with this, they are subject to loss of federal monies--might be worth a try ;-) !
Yup, this was an over-the-transom email which I submitted in its entirety because of the beautiful juxtaposition of Tiger and BHO. I agree with you and did what Gringo did. I have MO's entire thesis, which I found before the elections. Yup. Racist. You can find these things, surenuff. Just try to find something in print discussing them.
I think there is some serious problems with these allegations. Some of the information they "can't find" simply isn't accessible because of laws which limit sharing documentation. Just because the press can find old girlfriends of Tiger, or text messages (which are easy to get once you find said old, vindictive girlfriend), doesn't mean they can ransack legal documentation that is protected.
As for childhood friends - I've seen several that have known him for many years, and in fact one was just arrested yesterday, I believe.
The paper by Michelle is definitely available, but access is blocked or limited (not sure which). I know it's available, and certainly it was available before, because portions of it were on the web and I've read snippets that others plucked from it.
Conspiracies, to me, are for people who have too much time on their hands and are unwilling to put in the minimum of effort to apply Ockham's Razor to the thought process.
The Kennedy Assassination is my favorite. I've been to Dealey Plaza....and after visiting the site, seeing the layout and reviewing tapes - the ability of Oswald only had to be limited to pull it off. In fact, I'm willing to bet I could've pulled it off. And I'm not a sharpshooter (you didn't need to be).
The key to a conspiracy is for everyone involved to keep quiet. But clearly that's impossible. Watergate should've been the perfect conspiracy - but look what happened there.
This is a good post.
I read M.O.'s thesis. It was available before the election. It was also like every other college senior thesis - bad, boring, banal.
The friend with whom B.O. traveled to Pakistan has been interviewed. He is a recovering drug addict and works with some theater group in the Pacific Northwest.
I can't imagine why he won't release the birth certificate. None of the fields are incriminating - it's just names, dates, and professions.
Obama also attended Occidental College on a Fulbright scholarship.
No conspiracy need enter this picture: Occidental founder Armand Hammer and the KGB, and Senator William Fulbright and the KGB.
Please, i encourage you to start some searches --expand the terms, try to get a picture of what if any meaning pertains.
I already have done so, and have found a lot of hair-raising material. But take a look for yourselves.
On April 1, 1983, twenty one year old Columbia University student, Barack Obama, attended the "Socialist Scholars Conference" in the Great Hall of The Cooper Union in New York City. It marked the centennial of Karl Marx's death in 1883. The opening remarks were given by Frances Fox Piven of the Democratic Socialists of America, who sponsored the event.
Oh, details, details.
Read Harvard PhD Stanley Kurtz's book "Radical-in-Chief"
Or not. It's almost too late.
#5 by Rick--Yes there was a childhood friend arrested--child porn or looking for underage sex, I forget which.
There was also a homosexual call boy ring in DC that came to light in 1989 involving a certain Craig Spence, who was arguably an agent of the Japanese then-ruling party, which was using him for some very unsavory purposes. Many high-level American officials were implicated and the whole business shortly sank into the waters of the Potomac.
This is a very effective post. Someone wrote a similar one but I can't remember the name of the person about whom simply everything was suddenly public knowledge.
The legacy media swim in the layer of the information sea that is figuratively above the thermal layer. Sonar pulses cannot penetrate this layer. Non-traditional media swim below that layer. Above, there are official stories that become "it" for all time, such as that it's "radical" Islam or "Islamists" who engage in all that nasty stuff. Fjordman, Gates of Vienna, Lawrence Auster, and others point out that it's Islam itself that's the problem but never, ever expect this truth to be mentioned in public in the legacy media. No, never that.
It's wilder below the layer and one must rely more on one's critical faculties to interpret what's reported but, by gosh, it's ONLY there that you have a chance of learning the astonishing facts about Obama. Example: "Barack Obama's missing year." By Jack Cashill, World Net Daily, 4/7/11 (Obama as Marxist revolutionary, IKYN). (http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=283881)
Now, Barack Obama has been in office for a year-and-a-half, yet this very same press: [cannot]
even find Michelle Obama's Princeton thesis on racism.
I downloaded her senior thesis three years ago. Not exactly hidden.
Regarding which passport he traveled on to go to Pakistan- I haven't seen any information on that.
I second Mike Scully's recommendation of Stanley Kurtz's Radical-in-Chief.
I remember seeing parts of Moochelles thesis. It seemed very racist.
