Here's what I find amusing about this. Washington is one of the most liberal states in the nation - more so than CT or MA and probably CA. You would think that this is something that they would "approve" of in the sense of "do your thing".

And yet the state seems to have this odd "morality" streak that bans thongs and peek-a-boo shorts. It appears in other laws too regarding "public decency".

Weird.

Just as a intellectual exercise, I wonder if the ladies had been Lesbians in a Lesbian coffee bar would the reaction to them been the same? :>)

Personally, I'm not a coffee drinker - in fact I try to avoid caffeine entirely preferring non-caffeinated herbal teas. I might make an exception though if we had one of these franchises around here. :>)
