We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Amazing. He had some pretty good 3-D skills. If he created that design himself and had some math skills, he would make a pretty good design engineer.
The manual dexterity shown in this video was once very common here in the US, prompted in part by farmers who had to repair everything on the spot. One of my farming great-grandfathers made all his furniture, in addition to being a hybrid corn pioneer and being well-versed in Shakespeare, albeit with only an eighth grade education.
Will we have lost those skills, computer gaming away?
Fantastic application of multimedia.
It seems that the "magazine" is a set of video clips.
Imagine how difficult and inaccurate it would be to convey this stuff without action visuals.
