We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Awesome. The New York Times is no longer a credible source of news. I used to read it every day. Other than glancing at the headlines at Starbucks, I haven't read it in at least two years (other than on-line articles being critiqued or exposed as inaccurate by bloggers or other MSM).
As for Maggie, I was never too fond of her pa. He put his cigar out in my face just for kicks.
I concur. The key word you use is (*read*). Those who are swimmin' with the tuna, tend to be illiterate or prefer to be told how to think. That leaves those of us, (presumptiously aligning myself to you), seeking more credible info than what the NYT's has to offer. I imagine Oct.'s graph will reveal an even deeper subterranean status.
