We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Not to be a post whore or anything. Just wondering why "Sad. But true." triggers the comment spam filter, but adding the followon sentence allowed the comment to be posted. Anyone know? Just curious.
Yeah... so have I. So I tried several times (on this computer)... Then figuring it was because this one was (sort-of) new, I tried on a different computer. Same thing. That's when I added the follow-on sentence and it went. Sigh.... I didn't want to cause problems and get banned for the multiple attempts, so I asked the question.
Ahhh, well. I'll just have to remember to be more wordy in my comments henceforth. Heh.
