Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

A cozy Hunting and Fishing club

Thanks again for the invite, dear friend. (If you wondered, it's gents only - and tobacco enjoyment is encouraged. Jacket and tie for dinner, of course. Traditional American, like Maggie's Farm.)


That's Harpoon UFO in the Growler. Their UFO is good stuff.

Nice place. But a little hoity-toity as hunting camps go, a bit too refined for us sons of Appalachia used to a little more rough and cheerful kind of digs for the season. I mean it has electricity and everything...

Yes, well, it's all relative.
I am fine with a wood stove and a few dogs on the bed.

Really nice. I'm more about the fireplace and the beer than the actual hunting, so that's great.
