We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
There's an important underlying conclusion here, that should be emphasized.
The Rolling Stones Inc. have enough money to make it worthwhile to move from one tax domain to another. So, they do it. It's a rational economic decision.
However, most people don't operate w/ that economy of scale. So, when the tyrants get into office w/ the "tax the rich" slogans, the rich simply move away. And it's the middle class that pays this extortion.
So, as Richards points out, instead of something reasonable, the gov't gets nothing from him. But in addition, the gov't gets takes extra from its industrious, hard-working populace.
