"Why can't we just arrest the Tea Partiers?"

Going back to the original Slate article, I find the original quote,
"I wonder if we're likely to see a Timothy McVeigh situation," says Nicholas Robert, an attendee originally from Australia, who basically wonders if any Tea Partiers can be arrested. "It seems to be that we're being very polite. I wonder if there are any legal mechanisms�one that comes to mind are the provisions used to crush the Wobblies."
comes from an Australian...h-m-m, they do have some different laws down there, don't they? Such as, compulsary voting; I wonder how well that would work in America?

I don't think it would change anything. Those getting welfare checks would just vote for the ones who would continue or increase them. I think no welfare check, no vote would work better. It's criminal that the leach class get's to vote greater benefits for themselves - kinda like congress does.

They took their guns away in Australia. We've still got them here, and aren't afraid to use them. That is exactly why we have the Second Amendment.

Who exactly would do the arresting? Cops - sworn to uphold the law? National Guardsmen like me - sworn to protect and uphold the Constitution?

Maybe the lefties should arm themselves and try to arrest us - it would be very funny.
