We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
In the article I read they stated there were 'more than expected" applications. That as opposed to the adverb 'unexpectedly", which has been the word of choice in stories about the economy over the last year and a half.
It will be interesting to see how the spin changes if the repubs win back Congress next month.
Pretty much standard Utopian drivel; Such people may have big dreams but are absolutely clueless about how to accomplish the end much less if it is possible, practical or desirable. For the most part, the answer to the last three criteria is no.
