We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
It was worth watching just to see Mike Wallace become totally flustered by Morgan Freeman's response to his stupid questions. How do we stop racism? "Stop talking about it!" Instead of the race hustling lot he has around him, Obummer and his sycophants need to listen to Morgan Freeman and other truly wise men and women. Thanks, BD, for posting this timely lesson.
Particularly interesting (and humorous) is how flummoxed Wallace is when Freeman reflects his question back on him. Many so called reporters love playing "stump the chump" with unsuspecting interviewees, but are tongue-tied when asked to answer the same questions themselves.
Been saying that for years, hardly anyone listens (especially white people claiming to want "equality" for blacks when in fact they want to stuff their own pockets with subsidies for organisations monitoring "positive discrimination" (what Americans call "affirmative action")).
I knew I loved Morgan Freeman as an actor - I always thought he seemed to have such integrity, but I didn't know for sure because, after all, he was playing parts. Now I see what I sensed was true. You tell 'em Morgan Freeman!!
