Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

In today's Enquirer

Al Gore sex attack. This is sad and pathetic, and I prefer to think that this is not his MO. Nobody is perfect. So, please let's not blame it on you-know-what.

I do not believe this for one minute. How can this be? Al Gore can not pry himself away from the mirror long enough to have human sex with anyone.

I'm glad that the Enquirer sticks to the fundamentals of journalism: scandal. Nothing better serves the public interest. As to Al, he is a late bloomer coming into his long delayed midlife crisis. Better late than never ;)

The Enquirer scored one major coup with the Edwards scandal. Any of their articles are presumptively incorrect and their credibility is negative -- the louder they proclaim something, the less I believe it.
Could Al Gore have done something disgusting four years ago during a massage? I'm sure it's possible. But I will need other evidence before crediting this story.

1. The Enquirer has become quite reliable.

I feel sorry for the Internet inventor, more so for his wife.
At least he's not on the golf course every other day looking for Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman's murderer like Barry and OJ.

My goodness, a $540 massage bill should be expected to come with a tug or more. No wonder he attacked her. There's no way a massage is worth $540 without any additional services rendered.

Looks like the climate fraudster got taken then busted.
