We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Just doing a little basic math, knowing a couple of the dimensions of a couple of objects in this picture (or a reasonable guess anyway), I have determined that the guy is actually 5' tall and the gal 4'7".
After the Second World War Germany made a three-wheeled car they called the Messerschmidt. I guess they had all of these motorcycles left over from the Late Unpleasantness and decided they'd sell as a 'people's car' if they enclosed them and made them two seaters. The basic problem with them was the inherent instability of a three wheeled car that wasn't designed as a car but rather as a motorcycle with sidecar.
I drove one once, luckily on a race track rather than a traffic laden road. Take my word for it. It tips over very easily, and there you are, like a beetle on its back.
Little Pebbles Academy in Tulsa, Ok say's greetings to all Obama supporters that voted him in. Stupidity reigns supreme once again & maybe, just maybe, you all will wise up & vote the other way or best yet, stay the heck out of the voteing booths. Obama isn't a very good legacy to leave the African American people in the U.S. as it being their very first strike as President. I'm putting my money on the fact not all African Americans would do this bad, but better than Obummer, since he's not a U.S. citizen anyway.
