We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Sony has been pulling all of the Bob YouTubes they can find, but I found an interesting (outtake?) of Tell Ol' Bill (with different lyrics) which I can link but cannot embed.
That was a nice selection of pics the guy had. I'd forgotten about Bob's beard days. Looked quite dashing!

That'd be my guess. The drums didn't sound professionally recorded. Too 'bright' in recording lingo.
As to the song, while I wouldn't put it on my personal favorites list, it was certainly quintessential Dylan. Chord structure, rhythm pattern, vocal intonation; all straight down the pipe for the big guy.
As for Sony, yeah, they're dickweeds. Always have been. I could spin off five or six horror stories without even thinking about it. Ever heard the term "rootkit"? Pray you never do.
My personal thought is that there's no need to apologize just because the thing's not embedded. Sure as hell isn't your fault. We click on links for everything else. Consider the embedded vids a plus, not the norm.
Anyway, thanks for the-
Oh, shit.
I just realized something. And poor me is probably going to have to bear the brunt and set things right.
As you well know, the 'Opposites Clause' of the Blogger's Rule Book decrees that a certain balance must be maintained on eclectic sites. And, you have to admit, there have been an awful lot of Dylan posts around here lately.
