Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I see a palm tree and another type of tree I recognize from Florida's east coat. But, the second row of houses is elevated, so, that make Florida a long shot. I THINK Altantic/ Gulf stream -ish. The architecture does not look US. So. I'll guess Bermuda too.

I thought Bermuda, and I was right about that. That's the harbor (one of them).

Just think ... If this is Bermuda, this is the paradise on earth in which our current Administration located the terrorists they released from Gitmo. Pretty nice digs. Always wanted to go to Bermuda but could never afford it.

Now it would seem to be a dangerous place. What the heLL was our government thinking?

Home safe after an overnight in BERMUDA!!

Congrats all. NOT in the Caribbean. Alone as a seamount in the Atlantic, 646 miles east by southeast of Cape Hatteras, 775 miles south by southeast from Nova Scotia!!

Inhabited accidentally by Adm Sir Geo. Somers in a hurricane-induced shipwreck in 1609 on his way to relieve the colony at Jamestowne, VA.

Wreck formed the basis of Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest"!
