We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Thanks Bird Dog. A friend played some old Django for us in '67 and I was hooked. The black & white of of old Steve is a treat. I had an original set of seven 78's I sold to help pay the rent in '73. Great music, thanks!
I too discovered Django in the 60's. From my meager income I invested in a 3-LP set which was worn out by the time CD's came out. One of the greatest Jazz guitarists of all time, and the teaming up with Grapelli made for great music! Thanks for posting.
