Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Just got through reading her book. Very enjoyable and should be required reading for all persons of the female persuasion. I think the way boys are required to be "girlish" is one of the things that society needs to take a hard look at. Men and women don't think alike and we should celebrate this diversity, instead of thinking that "female" is the default.

Nope.
In another clip she glibly repeats the "born that way" nonsense of the gay rights movement, contradicting scientific findings in her own field.

Her first book on the female brain also came under fire for fudging/politicizing the scientific record.

A bit to agenda-driven to be good science.

The gay right movement thing or the born that way thing is a sick thing. It is a demented thing and with no apologies to those who decide to tag themselves gay. They need to check into a hospital and have their brains reexamined. No human being is born gay. Why don't we have gay horses and cats? The creator of man and beast meant sex to be between the opposite sexes but how would you know the meaning of the word "abuse" if every thing is used the way it was meant to be used. The gay life is the most pitiful of all mental sicknesses i have ever seen.
If you check out the gay folks, they are sick in other areas as well not just sexually. The parents who also accept the gayness of their children themselves are sick, lilly livered, weak, coward, foolish or helpless folks.
Check yourself out, if you are gay, you will find out that something originated it. So once you address the root cause, you may be able to arrest the outcome- if you are honest to follow through. If no one washes your brain for you go help yourself and look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself some home truths. Be your sex - male or female period
