We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
The key problem is that we do understand too much of the healthcare reform bill and we reject it. The more people like Feinstein explained, the better we understood and the more we rejected it. The brighter the lipstick she put on the pig, the more it looked like a pig.
Sounds too good to be true to me. I'd need to see a source before I'd be willing to stick my neck out on that "quote." Anyone have a link to the original?
After extensive searching, I can only conclude that we must call BS on this one. I can only find one blog comment after another circulating a rumor. Not one video or legitimate article attributing the quote. Continuing to repeat stuff like this (and the birther non-sense) only weakens credibility of real concerns (see Boy Who Cried Wolf). Which is why the left loves it and encourages people to continue screaming about this nonsense while they go merrily on passing New Deal II.
