Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

If ever there was a case of "fair warning", that was it. Nobody should have to go through such anguish, and certainly not young children. My only concern are the inevitable lawsuits that will follow, as people sue for "irreparable psychological damage". That was certainly my first thought when the ordeal was over.

The first part, of course, was outstanding.

Bomber girl are you suggesting that Republican men aren't attractive? Have you seen Marco Rubio? Aaron Schock? Paul Ryan? Thune? I guess they aren't nearly as sexy as Waxman or Franks.

Bomber Girl ... I'll stack Senator Centerfold [Scott Brown] up against any of the Democrat male leadership, especially against that ugly wienie Harry Reid. Harry was never voted "the sexiest man alive" by any group of women. Any time.
