We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Kids that age are amazing. An emergency handled well by the dispatcher as well - he was very good with her - kids do well when people are calm in emergencies.
The jammies comment was funny and poignant as well.
Love Bonnie Hunt! Kudos to the dispatcher and the parents of Savannah who, obviously, are raising one very bright, responsible child. Such a treasure!
My physician neighbor reminded us last week when too many couch potatoes were out shoveling snow: chest or arm pain, sudden nausea, etc. are signs of a pending heart attack. Call 911, take two baby aspirin or one-half adult aspirin (150 -165 mg) and sit up near the front door. It is VERY important to stay awake.
