INTERNATIONAL AID TO HAITI: ARABS OPT OUT


This CBS / Associated Press report lists countries providing aid to Haiti in the wake of that country’s devastating earthquake. Conspicuous by its absence is the entire Muslim world, including the extremely rich oil producing nations.

However, Arab countries do not discriminate against non-Muslim countries. Their help was missing after the earthquakes in Turkey and Iran and during war and famine in Muslim Africa too.


ISRAEL’S DISPROPORTIONATE RESPONSE


Because of Israel’s long history of enduring bomb and missile attacks the Israeli army (the IDF) is one of the most experienced in the world in treating mass-injuries and using specially trained sniffer dogs to locate wounded persons in the rubble.


The IDF was one of the first on the scene in Haiti last week (sending considerably more troops and doctors than, for example, Britain and France did). Hundreds, if not thousands of Haitians have already been treated (and many life-saving surgeries performed) in the IDF Medical and Rescue Field Hospital, set up in a large tent on a soccer field in Port-Au-Prince. In addition, Israeli forces have located and rescued survivors trapped in ruined buildings, including many who were injured during the collapse of the UN headquarters.

Interesting...it seemed as if both the CNN reporters, and the medical people they interviewed from the Harvard Medical School, were both ashamed and embarrassed to admit that the Israelis (not just ANY Israelis, but those fascists from the Israeli Defense Force, KNOWN the world over for killing the poor Palestinians!!) have been able to set up a sophisticated mobile clinic, complete with modern medical equipment, to help deal with the survivors of the Haitian earthquake.
WHAT a BUNCH of ULTRA-MAROONS!! Do they really expect us to believe that the Israelis could not design and field this type of equipment? I would make a bet that some (or even most) of that equipment was even invented by Israelis!

Ashkenazi Jews are the most intelligent people on our planet. While representing 1/4 of one percent of the world's population, they have been awarded 28% of the Nobel Prizes in hard science-astounding. While the world trashes them, they care and perform.

Demotivators has it right with their comment ( I thought of academia and Hollywood) INCOMPETENCE: "When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do."

CNN couldn't report the truth if it slapped them across the face. Amazing, many people still chose them as their source for the news. Israel not only has military power, but they have brain power. They couldn't stay alive without both.

We have been involved in a war since 9/11/2001. That is when we decided to engage the enemy. I find it hard to believe that we cannot do the same thing, medical wise, that the Israelis did in Haiti. The difference, I believe, lies in the Israelis set up excellent security leaving the medical people free to operate. We have disastrous leadership and crippling ROE, both would impede our accomplishing the goal. Remember the tsunami? Well the bloggers reported how excellent we were in getting the supplies in and in the medical delivery.....what has happened since then?

I disagree with you.

I don't think the people in the video were shocked that it was the Israelis who set up the fantastic field hospital up. To me, it was clear that a people from half way around the world were able to do it when we (the U.S.) are right around the corner.

Seriously. I love Israel and am a huge Israel supporter. I've never been to Harvard and absolutely despise CNN - I just don't think it was meant the way you think it was.

I agree - a good deal of the equipment/technology used in that hospital probably were designed and developed by Israelis - the Israelis are excel at that (among other things). But the U.S. has all of that technology and capabilities.

So why aren't we deploying it?

Some flag-waving for my country: Canada is contributing about a thousand military personnel and a field hospital.

Also, Iran deserves praise for not wasting a moment in flying in relief supplies. Something about their own experiences with earthquakes.

Have to disagree that the Umma is not involved in Haiti.

Venezuela has send a few planeloads...you've see their comments.

For those not in the know, Islam own Ven...
Al Qaeda provide security for the Mambo Chimp Chavez.
(They also own Argiestan, Equador, Salvador
and just got kicked out of Honduras...bet the
Mau Mau from Mombasa will work on that one!)

And they have drug running bases to take care of
all over Haiti, run by the Lavalas....

The Muhammadan world has their own poor suffering masses to deal with.

Muslim masses have grown to such a number it which required their scholars invent suicide bombings to deplete the problem.

Islamists have their own way of dealing with Haiti -like problems.

Muhmmadans ain't blowing Haiti up or sending relief because yall don't give a rat's tail about Christian miscreants.

In Iraq and Afghanistan they are blowing each other up while the West is sending relief

Sunni 5 pillars may work for novices but Islam is much much more than those miserly fudamentals.

One pillar requires yall to pray 5 times a day.

There is tahajjud prayer where Muhammad's devillah is said to descend to the lower regions looking for some righteous man repenting well before fajr.

Likewise, jihad is not one of yall's 5 reductions.

However, it is the essence of Muhammads religion.
