Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Wow

Dede Scozzafava releases her voters! She is essentially dropping out.


This should give Hoffman an edge since she is, nominally, a Repub and (was) the pick of the County Repub Chair.

This is huge. check that --this COULD be huge. Time to pour on the coals. Michae Steele also did the right thing --news flash, he's just announced the RNC will support (meaning, with the full 'get out the vote' party machinery) to Hoffman.

NY has a Conservative party, which began as a response to the extreme liberalism of the Republican party. Rockerfeller, Javitts, Lindsey. Think Lowell Weiker style Republicans.

Its not at all surprising to see a very liberal Republican in NY. or Ct for that matter.

I'm not sure Dede did "the right thing." Now she's telling her supporters to vote for the Democrat. Why the hell didn't she admit she's a crypto-Democrat. Why did she ever pretend to be a Republican in the first place? Dippy woman!
