Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

China's celebration of 60 glorious years of Communist totalitarianism and government benificence

Not that they are really Commies anymore, but they are something. We read that they put their cutest military babes with the shapeliest gams in the front rows. Hot babes, with maybe a touch of the dominatrix excitement to them.

China has over 2 million military personnel. To do what? We could tell them we'll stop printing money if they'll bus their soldiers over to Afghanistan. I'm not sure if they fight, but they could march in parades all over the place and look fierce.

That is actually one of the scary things about China.

China could lose 100 million people and barely miss a beat. That would be almost one in three in the US.

They probably hit the 100 million mark in abortions in the last decade. That's too high. Add in the female infants left out to die and the teenage females who drink pesticides when it dawns on them they're a burden to their parents.
