Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Harry Reid? You couldn't hire him for a sales position, because he's unconvincing and non-charming, as well as completely irritating. And no one would trust him to tell them the truth.

Pelosi is a liar-pants-on-fire person, who is completely insincere and not very knowlegeable about anything she's supposed to know. She is constantly strutting around trying to garner attention and praise.

With Obama's growing record of big lies and small, I don't think any grown-up possible customer would trust him to tell them the truth about a condo or a time share. I see him as a slick used car salesman type.

And you know what they're like.

A salesman who once worked for me was fond of the saying, "In sales as in medicine, prescription without diagnosis is malpractice."

Obama/Pelosi/Reid have pockets full of prescriptions, which they've been carrying around for a long time and want to hand out without any attempt to diagnose the patient's true condition.
