Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Ugly

Some new disturbing info about ACORN (which recently has been the recipient of how many billions of "stimulus" money, and which is supposed to be part of taking the next census).


This needs to be stopped. This is creepy.

ACORN's leadership should have been taken out years ago when they were part of the leadership of SDS, NWRO, Weathermen, and others who wished to see the dissolution of America. Their dream didn't die, they didn't go away, and we must now deal with legions of them. Moreover, we are now paying them to destroy us!

As you suggest, they must be stopped. This is an excellent example of this truth: The only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn anything from history.
