A nice weekend for the beach

Sunshine doesn't cause the dangerous skin cancers (h/t, Englishman). People need that sunshine; what we used to term "bennies" - Beneficial Sun Rays. "Going out to catch some bennies and study chem."

I believe the beach photo may be from Korea, not China.

I live in Thailand and that Chinese beach photo is right on. Its not that crowded here but it really reminded me of the beach on holidays. Except the people here don't want to be dark they want to be white so they wear all sorts of clothes to the beach and wear ski masks and gloves and all of that stuff to keep from getting darker. As a white person it really seems odd until you get used to it.

My first thought also,but not quite 2 to 1, also second thought, lots of sideways scenery.

Yes, indeedy, friends, sunshine does cause skin cancers after all. At least it does down here in sunny Texas, the skin cancer capital of the world. My husband just spent four hours under the knife getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from his cheek today, and he has had three others removed from his face and arms. I've had two removed from my face. Of course if we weren't so inconsiderate as to live so long, we might not have had so many.

I told him that he'd better have it operation done right away, since the Obamacare people won't let him do it later, because he's too old.
