Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Sweetheart,

GBS's quotation was garnishment for another tiresome article on sex, abortion, and who should be responsible for making babies. GBS was not part of that article, and I seriously doubt his words had a thing to do with sex. As to who started off-topic, perhaps the author of that piece is the culprit as he needed blandishment for what he knew was just another brick in the wall of this most belabored subject.

You, on the other hand, introduced something new and salacious, or perhaps better said - violent, to the discussion with your beer bottle bashing for sex and reproductive concerns.
