Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Inside the Dem attack plans

Politico reports that these tricks have been in the works for months. We need to get used to this new ball game. Can anybody imagine the Bush admin. doing stuff like this?


I do not believe that Conservatives, or Repubs, are up for these kinds of games and tactics. We have often observed here that the Left prefers to reserve their live ammo for their fellow Americans rather than for foreign threats or dangerous criminals.

Seems to me I remember a statement to the effect that one should not pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel. These Obama guys are dumber than I ever thought possible.

When Harry Ried challenged Limbaugh, he was disassembled with what appeared to be little effort from Limbaugh. I'm thinking now, Rush is rolling up his sleeves to get down to the business of dropping the Chicago machine into the shredder, piece by piece, day by day . War is Hell.

One thing that the past 20 years have taught our enemies around the world is this: Republicans will stand up to our enemies around the world, and Democrats will stand up to Republicans.
