Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Tony Snow, true grit, great pep talk.
One giant Trojan horse. A great way to describe the stimulus package. BD, I like my beer cold. Very smart of you not to show the lovely maiden in the right hand corner. The Sister's would go crazy. I would drink anything that wench would put in front of me. My own warm piss included. That's gross, I can't believe I said that. The Knight of Pointy Toys has lost one scarf for gross indulgence of his endocrine system and for verbiage unbecoming a knight.
I call you hence to my quarters, KPT. chop chop... haste makes waste. ` Oh please Oueenie, do forgive thy humble Knight. You see my beautiful maiden aka ( My Wife) is a cockroach feeder too! The maiden BD showed bewitched me only for a moment, when she pulled her casaba's out of the beer. Especially the cold one!
P.S remind me to talk about your dogs latter. I'm not a big fan of the "Bull Pit Dog" I have had a little change of heart, thou. You big bella : ) and is it also ordered that the Knight's toys be fitted with a fresh supply of power..
..or is there adequate back-up in Her Majesty's private locker ? A power supply to pointy toys? Pshaw. Nipples are known for their vibrancy and will respond to suggestion, mere thought, or even a little breeze. Hey! Seems they respond to typing on a blog, too!
Off to my closet. BRB. Her Majesty. `

This bill is, indeed, a trojan horse. It's going to ruin our lives and the lives of our children. The newly-uncovered healthcare rationing provided for in the bill, especially for the elderly, is nothing short of obscene. Obama is evil and I hope all the Democrats who support him, and the useful idiots in the press who have made him possible, end up in hell.
Re Black Univ: I don't know if they will accept whites or not, but whites need not apply to the Congressional Black Caucus.
Is it me, or has Obama turned out to be a liar on all counts?
1. I'll be bipartisan. NOPE 2. I'll make sure the bill is bipartisan. NOPE 3. I'll avoid recriminations (WOW - HUGE NOPE after last night) 4. I didn't sign up to spend $800bb - interesting, because you kept talking about the stimulus package you were planning to submit ALL THROUGH THE ELECTION! 5. I inherited a debt that doubled, so I don't need to listen to those who doubled it. True...you'll just double it in less time and blame the others for doubling it the first time. No recriminations? 6. No earmarks - umm...ok you're sort've right on this one. But call a duck a duck - this bill is chock full of pork, which is what earmarks are a euphemism for. 7. No lobbyists - NOPE 8. No cheats - HUGE NOPE 9. I hope the kids are paying attention to ARod so they learn there are no shortcuts in life. From the man who took the biggest shortcut to the White House in the history of our nation!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. Obama, I had hopes for you, but you're a disaster already. America will get pretty tired of this dolt furrowing his brow and huffing and puffing like an adolescent who was denied the car keys...To the MSM he is truly charasmatic...In the corps, we would say that he is such a great leader that flies leave fresh dogshit to follow him...Pretty accurate I would say...
Now I'm wondering if my neighbor's plan not to go to the polls last November in order to allow the Democrats to Really Screw things up , was a good one.
Well, Maggie's doesn't damage our culture.
What? While spreading, or at least being complicit in that vile Anglo depravity of warm beer? I weep for our culture. Fox is on that health care 'insert' big time. Megyn Kelley just hammered Arlen Specter to death and got him on record for promising to take care of the health stealth. She also grilled him on Susan Collins and Olympia Snowjob. She even got a dem on and got him to admit he didn't like that 'health thing'. Megyn's fury after the interviews was that it was obvious few of them had even read the bill!
Now we know what the rush is all about. Can't have the proles and the republicans knowin' about that little thing buried in page 672 of the Stimulus Bill. Obama is a charlatan of the first order. ` I like Heineken and it is especially good outdoors on a cold night. Warm beer?
Shaugnessy says to O'Rourk, "Would you be so kind, if I were to die before you, to pour a lovely, warm pint or two on my grave for old times sake. O'Rourk lets out a whistle and waves his arms in a grand gesture. "Sure as the saints are lovin' the Holy Father, but you wouldn't be mindin' so much I'll be warmin' it up in my kidney then?" (I neglected to mention I like my Heineken cold as a witch's tit).
Landing a big jet on the hudson as if it were a glider was a thing of true beauty! HOWEVER, The hunger to see, touch, and hear from the Captain is an indication of a great hunger in America. WE need--we were promised--men (and then women) who would do the rigorous, repetitive practice; who would do the constant boring learning and re-learning; who would do the daily tasks of self-discipline in both their public and private lives--we are hungry for those people who REALLY qualify as leaders. They qualify as leaders not because they took an 18 month, computer online course in "leadership". THESE PEOPLE OF EXCELLENCE qualify as leaders because they have lived their daily lives--every day doing the routine, the boring, the exciting, the demanding with a focus on achieving personal excellence and then universal excellence. We have not had that for so many years now. NON MERITOCRACY is what we have: the leaders of FEMA unable to co-ordinate massive rescue from hurricanes; the female leaders of states unable to see the whole picture, only able to do as their puppet masters tell them; we have had ethnic minorities, and females in high ranking millitary positions that have devastated our millitary purpose and reputation. Whine as they will--they WERE NOT QUALIFIED. Captain Sullenberger is QUALIFIED--he never skipped around an obstacle. Thus he was able in the darkest moment to lead and lead with great success against all odds. TOO BAD we don't have many folks like that coming up through the system today--nor, have we had them coming up for the last 25 years!
The school board of Missoula wants you to know that they are running a "non-competitive environment" for children to develo in--no grades--no tests--and ultimately no REAL LEADERS! "we are hungry for those people who REALLY qualify as leaders"
Indeed we are, so how did Captain Sully come to be in the left seat when both engines failed on the Airbus ? I have no knowledge of his history or back ground, but I do know his kind & probably what it took for him to become a leader. I will venture to guess Captain Sully was probably in the Boy Scouts of America where was taught values,[how corny is this, ' On my honor I will do my best ,To do my duty,to God and my Country. To help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight ] reinforced by his parents. Someone gave thanks before meals at his house ...He probably attended church (where again he was taught values) reguarlly as a kid even tho he didn't see the need at the time..He joined the Air Force to learn to fly and serve his country where he became even more of a Patroit. He's proud to put his hand over his heart when the National Athem is played...because he loves his country,he loves his family and is willing to make any provisions to provide for and protect them from harm...so it was when his aircraft suddenly became a not too efficient glider three weeks ago. He simply did what he had seen in the movie in his head many times.. ...he stood up, took responsibility for himself his crew and the passengers that had entrusted their lives to him. Within the last thirty seconds of the flight, he knew it was the bottom of the 9th, two outs, tied game...after assessing the situation said, " We'll be in the Hudson " ... so am i painting Sully as a Super Hero, a perfect man? of course not, I'm sure his life is filled with regrets just like the rest of us. What could/should have been a disaster on January 19 resulted in a fairly happy ending because the man stuck with his basics [ To do my duty] he knew should work now as in the past. Again not perfect man but just trying to be a decent person dedicated to doing some good & serving. There are many, many Sullys among us but the pipe-line from whence he came has sprung a leak . A leak cause by a country that's on the fast track of removing God from our proud selves. A country that worships money,Hollywood,Sic-coms, cRap artist & drugs. That's willing to dance to the tune of any flim-flam man that comes along... cause we ain't got no basics and are not aware or don't care if we are doomed to crash and burn. Please excuse the Rant ! Every song that has ever been written consist of only eight notes , no more ...pretty simple. Maybe we should stick to some basics that has proven to work, and write a song...for our childern's future... is that too corney ? Flight is beautiful--flying a glider with great finesse is almost an ethereal beauty! The Capt. has thousands of hours logged in as a glider pilot--hours he did not get paid for, hours he put in in order to achieve greater skills and a keener insight to his passion--flight. He set that jet down in the water as a perfect glider landing would be on a smooth runway.
