So why doesn't the GOP get on top of this issue? As stomach-turning as this idea is, this clip of BF should be on TV daily mouthing these exact words. Of course if they hadn't shot themselves in the foot with the Ted Stevens/Jack Abramoff/pickanyotherscandal shenanigans they'd have much better standing on this issue. This isn't even a matter of talking bad about someone, it's just letting them talk bad about themselves. I'm no fan of negative attack ads. Letting people hang themselves with their own words is a different matter.
