We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
It's certainly fun watching the environuts dance around the issues. A pet favorite is watching them waffle over nuclear power, and waiting until paragraph 26 for ethanol to be mentioned in the latest "Why food prices are going up" article is certainly a kick. Might as well enjoy the lunacy for what it is.
Side question: If PowerLine notes that "It's fair to say that Obama has now admitted that he was wrong," why do they call it "airbrushed", which implies he's trying to hide something? Ditto "scrubbed", "rewriting history", "purging", "pandering", etc.
In other words, an intelligent man can't accept new facts and change his mind without being reviled in modern America.
