Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I don't get the distinction the bloke in pith assumes.

But New Mexico is politically over the edge, with Judas for a govenor.

here (north of the 49th) - the national debate is in its early stages but it's gathering steam. at times the issue, which is similar to what has transpired in arizona, gets submerged by partisan politics, personalities and everything else in this genuine tragi-comedy. this is to be expected - but the real eye-opener is the complacency and general ignorance surrounding the difference between guaranteed charter rights and "human rights."

ever the optimist, the outcome is assured - but it is going to take a lot longer than i thought when recently i first discovered that canadians (who ostensibly stand on guard ) would be quite willing to take a leak on my shoes. holy doodle - there's an entire legion out there - and they're all dancing around like they really need to go!

Me thinks it is beyond NMHRC's purview to hear and rule on NMRFRA or the NM or US Constitution.

Misss Elaine could have appealed.
