Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Obama doesn't want me to protect myself

Obama comes out against concealed carry. What a jerk.

Does he expect me to walk around Hartford with a visible holster like I was Wyatt Earp?

Of course, unlike John McCain, this Obama guy chooses to be surrounded by armed men who carry, concealed, on my nickel. So why not me? Is he more important than me?

Maybe, in his dreams.

Oh well, at least he didn't run around in new hunting gear pointing his gun at everyone pretending to be a hunter like Kerry.

Let's see... I'm trying to think of the negatives about everyone walking around with a visible holster... ummmm, still thinking :) One can still 'open carry' here in Arizona... for who knows how much longer. But if BO gets in the time left will be much shorter.

I did meet Hugh O'Brian when I was a youngster, who starred in:

And I did own a toy 'Buntline Special' I believe. Too bad Obama never got to play 'Cowboys and Indians'... maybe he would have a different take on the world today.

Some people don't "wear" guns well. In fact, Obama is one of that sort.

Open carry is the best way and sustains transparency.

What y'all yanks have to hide is beyond me.

Unless, y'all are typical white folks in the Hussein mold.

When in the last free state in USA, Arizona I always open carried.

Chicks look better with guns, too.
