Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Good smokes

A European pal just brough me a box of the Pleiades 44 ring size smokes today, on his way here from Paris. We looked 'em up, and see that JR has them, far cheaper than they can be bought in Euroland.

A darn pleasant smoke. I am on my second one - just to make sure they're good - with a glass or three of ancient port.

Have you smoked the El Rey Del Mundos? I'm curious how they compare to these. I'm about to reorder.

El Rey's are one of the best smokes, especially the Oscuras and are a great price. JR's prices really can't be beat elsewhere. You don't really see them because I think their advertising budget is -0-. unlike Fuentes/Opus X which is all marketing and packaging. Fuentes is good but why pay so much??
