Benjamin Franklin once said, “In all your Amours, you should prefer old Women to young ones.”

Franklin delivers eight reasons for this, which I’ve condensed:

1. They know more, conversation is better.
2. They try harder.
3. Decreased if nonexistent chance of conceiving children.
4. They’ll keep the relationship quiet.
5. Sexual pleasure is the same.
6. Younger women get too involved emotionally.
7. You’ll feel less guilty than if you “debauched a virgin.”
8. “Lastly They are so grateful!!”

Yet all I've read about Franklins exploits with women involved young women. Men never marry a woman their same age if they can find a younger one.

My experience was that when I was 17 that 17 year old girls/women were interested in 18-24 YO men. My experience at 21 was that 17 year old women wouldn't leave me alone and 21 YO women wouldn't look at me twice.

My sister in law once told me that it is the woman that chooses the man. After I thought about that awhile I realized she was right. The man my chase or woo a woman but the woman decides it there will be a relationship.

So I think you are blaming the wrong gender.
