We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Well, the media reaction is strange. Normally the media would be interested in letting the sunshine in and finding out what the truth is. And usually the media doesn't care that much about protecting intelligence sources and methods. But I do and I will.
I had high hopes for Sessions - not least because it meant losing that force in the Senate. Disappointing is a sufficiently mild description of how I felt about his lackadaisical tenure. I thought perhaps he was going to be moving things behind the scenes with the tasking of Huber but, it's become apparent that Huber has no interest in doing anything and coincidentally, neither did Sessions.
I couldn't agree more regarding Jeff Sessions. I also thought that he would be a fighter for justice. It seems to me he just wanted to finish his career with the AG title. He certainly left with a huge cloud hanging over him. What a disgrace, absolutely no backbone. Barr on the other hand handles himself very well. The democrats hate the man and that says it all.
