The Yale undergraduates who demand the right to be ignorant.

They are Canon Fodder. A beginning list of the canonical minds who must be banned. Basically, anybody smarter than you. That is, the people whose brains, talents, and accomplishments damage your self-esteem and make you feel small. I guess admiration is passe.

It feels like the Cultural Revolution in China.

I think the very fact that these students feel qualified to preach to the university about what is and is not important to know is clear evidence that their schooling has failed them. That's the first prerequisite for gaining knowledge - grasping the extent of your ignorance. These kids have no clue as to how much they don't know, and you have to wonder how they've made it this far without ever having run across anyone willing and/or able to explain that basic fact to them.

Make no mistake this is racism. The do not like "the other". The entire left wing, liberal philosophy is thinly disguised discrimination, redistribution and rent seeking.

It is precisely like the Cultural Revolution in China.

I have visited China 3 times and seen the remains of defaced artifacts that were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. In November, I plan to return and add a trip to Taiwan. There I will visit the Royal National Museum, in Taipei, said to hold many artifacts that were scurried out of the mainland before the commies could destroy them. Keep watching. It will only get worse.

The question that plagues me is, when will the grown ups slap these spoiled children into place?

@ Jerryskids - "These kids have no clue as to how much they don't know" - the understatement of the century! They are the currents regime's "useful idiots" and will be disposed of when they no longer serve any purpose. Oh, won't they be surprised!
