We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Twerking Crisis


Public schools want to teach sexual matters from Kindergarten, and to make sure the kiddies know all about sex, safe sex, anal sex, oral sex, masturbation, mutual masturbation, gay sex, etc. The schools thus stimulate, or overstimulate our innocent youth. Heck, coeducation is overstimulating in itself.


At the same time, Twerking is sexual harassment of some sort. How a Twerk dance harasses anybody is beyond me. It's meant to be silly fun. As Instapundit says cleverly "Welcome to the neo-Victorian era — bringing back the censoriousness, but not the virtues..."

If I read this right, the girls made their own video, after seeing other school-approved videos, and then somebody else edited it. That somebody is not named, but "school project" is in the description of the video. A reasonable person could think a school teacher or administrator did the editing--and that person would be at fault or responsible.

Awaiting more info, I remain...

That "permanent record" nonsense is only scary if you believe it.

Don't want it to show up on your college applications? Say you're homeschooled.

Even so, who cares. Go to a state school. Start at a community college if you have to...and live a good life.

Well if general public display of sexual inuendo is sexual harassment than I'm constantly harassed by all the sexual inuendo of billboards, TV ads, TV shows and women dressed in stripper attire.

The sad part about this video is the continued slutification of our culture. Anyone who's ever been to a strip club will recognize these moves. It seems as if the stripper culture has won. I'm amazed by the moms and daughters who dress in attire that used to associated with porn and stripper industries.

It looked like cheerleader practice to me. The only value that these incidents have is to point out to the citizens which teachers and administrators have no business being involved with children in any way. Now it's time for the citizens to rise up and demand these loons are fired and never again allowed near children.

Civil disobedience. Boycotts. Set a date by which, if the IRS and tax code aren't simplified, we quit paying taxes to the IRS. We can figure our own and send it to Trey Gowdy --the spending authorites can drop by his office and get some of it, if it'll be used right.

School counselors object and basically threaten parents to back off - figures.

The nation and our school system is being run by idiots, fools and over educated ass clowns.
