U.S. pushes for more scientists, but the jobs aren’t there

The world only has so much room for geek geniuses. The rest of us need regular jobs, regardless of all of our above-average IQs and our As in Calculus.

Applying Title IX to science enrollment – what possibly could go wrong?

As if academia were a misogynistic, Muslim-style environment. These policy-makers are morons, panderers, idiots.

On some days, I feel that the world has gone mad and that we should put Thorazine into the drinking water along with fluoride. One such days, I think the government should require that the NY Rangers be 45% female, 5% mixed vegetable sexual orientation, and 11% black. Same for the Knicks. That would make for a circus, for sure.

So just where will Obama's team find the extra money ? Here is a new strategy--move into an independent state with a huge surplus of cash and start taking over the university town's police, and attorney's offices, not to mention putting your favorite women in the jobs abandoned by good men, i.e. Athletic Director, coach, etc. There are so many cars in Missoula with Seattle license plates on them it makes one wonder, but not for long--these cars are full of middle aged and younger plain Jane single women. One yells rape the other confronts the local government and files the paperwork. All paid for by the WA state democrats (unionistas). I taught environmental engineering and science at the university/college level for 37 years. The field has become so politicized and so polically correct (i.e., corrupt) that I would advise new students to avoid it. Today, there are many environmental issues that I cannot evaluate because I can't winnow the lies from the truth. I despair for my younger former colleagues, some of whom don't realize they are swimming in a cesspool. I remember when we did science. They only know the present hell and do not know it for what it is.

My son is an Electrical Engineer at the chemical companies and refineries in Baton Rouge and says they are unable to find people for the jobs they have.
