We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Well, I Wish Zombie Ike Was Still President, But All In All, I'd Rather Re-Enact "Three's Company"



Someone apparently not at risk of ever touching a human female boob has constructed a replica of the 4077 M*A*S*H unit in their backyard, and submitted it to Home and Garden's Rate My Space. I thought all the comic convention types were dressing up as Klingons, not Klinger nowadays, but what do I know? Go Mudhens!

Well "Roger", Cosplay (costumed play) is a huge deal in Japan. Fans of various forms of Japanese animation like anime, hentai, manga, video games, etc., dress up as their favorite characters - even to the extent of becoming these characters in every day life although that is obcessive and seen as a complusive disorder. Example of anime Cosplay. Example of a scifi oriented Cosplayer.
Example of a Star Wars Cosplayer.

This M*A*S*H setup seems like another form of Cosplay on a somewhat different and larger scale.

It's no different than model railroaders, hunters or people who are obcessive about fly fishing - speaking from personal experience. :>)

As one whose grandfathers, father, uncles, brothers and such had/have a huge addiction to train sets, this is really a possibility for miniaturizing a whole new set-up. Love M*A*S*H. I think this calls for a radio-controlled helicopter or two, not to mention jeeps.

where's the mud :)

Nicely done, though the tent looks more cramped than those used in the TV series and movie (which were likely not original sized tents because they would have needed extra room for the camera and sound crews of course).
