Caterpillar says Obamacare will cost you (the users and shareholders of this mighty American company) $100 million/yr.

If you have an opinion, email these folks in DC. Even if you think they are hopeless, let them know how you view things. It cannot hurt.

Readers know why I hate the Dem plan: It will make my privately-purchased, permanent, and inexpensive major medical policy illegal. Illegal. Who are these jokers in DC to make my insurance of choice illegal?

I do not want insurance to pay my doctor's bill when I have an ordinary bronchitis or an earache. I want it to cover me when I get hit by a truck and break 12 bones.

I called my representative's office this week and used your link tonight.That said,the little commie skunk will probably vote with Pelosi as he has the past two years.He is safe due to very careful gerrymandering. This is all outrageous.

Exactly. We've stayed privately covered for years without the assistance of any employer, by buying individual catastrophic coverage and saving appropriately for ordinary annual medical expenses. By doing so we've preserved a direct economic relationship with our doctors, and we've protected ourselves from becoming uninsurable upon the acquisition of an expensive illness. But under this new bill, we'll be fined as if we had no insurance, and our insurance probably will no longer be offered, because few customers will be willing to buy it AND pay a penalty.

All I've heard for the last year or so is how insurance is unaffordable. It never was unaffordable, but it's about to get that way.

Barrister--

You have got me thinking. My wife and I, being responsible people, have, at some substantial time and expense, gone out and secured long-term care insurance to take care of us in our decrepitude. We have paid a substantial amount in premiums of those policies over the past few years.

Will Obamacare make those policies illegal as well? I would think I would have a good legal claim against the government in such event, at least for the amount of the premiums we have paid.

Barrister--don't you get it yet? These are the same people who have all but shut down The Episcopal Church in USA. Stealing church real estate as they go--caring nothing about their many lies or deceptions.

Procuring for themselves a huge, maleable, and ignorant population to help them destroy what is left of white middle America--caring nothing about their many lies, or deceptions.

Barrister--don't you get it yet? These are the same people who will threaten each individual in our congress, at every level of every state and federal government until they obtain absolute submission--caring nothing about their many lies, or deceptions.

I am sorry Barrister. It is no longer possible for members of the legal community to contribute money to non profits, or to run websites from within their safe and comfortable lives. The time has come Barrister--for every member of the legal community to stand up and be counted; to take legal action against each offense in every state and community. The time has come Barrister for every lawyer in this country to show his face and make his voice heard in protest--loud, effective, visible protest. Come join me in the place you want me to go--in the streets!

if ONLY the simple message could be got out that stopping the admitted hundred billion in Medicare fraud would buy every uninsured poor person an HSA --and thereby start them on the road to property and a stake in the system --AND have fifty billion left over to ply against the national debt.

And just leave the rest of us --85% --the HELL ALONE.
