Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Just Google "Chris Dodd and ACORN." I don't have time to write a post right now except to note one link.


You are, of course, quite right, BL: Sen. Dodd was The Man From ACORN, (well, and so was Obama).


Ed. addendum:


John Fund today on why ACORN should get no more federal funds. Scathing review of the issues, including their links with SEIU. I still find it difficult to believe that there are nuts like this around.

B, Dodd and Frank are demi-gods of unreality --two demonic cartoons who cost the world so much that the enormity can't be measured by mind or law. What is fifty trillion? What is ten years of the globe's human work? Hmm, the Milky Way Galaxy might as well be a handful of sand. Crazy-makers whose beings ban political sanity, they both think they're just fine, and do at least cause one person i know of to pray often "God help us".
