O'Keefe and Giles have proven that true investigative journalism is not dead, but has only been chained by the MSM, as they have turned sycophants to the left-wing liberals. O'Keefe and Giles are heroes of old fashioned journalistic integrity, in my book.

Journalistic integrity has pretty much 'left the building' all over our country. I've been watching The Houston Chronicle for the past year, waiting for some one of their reporters to investigate the glaring errors and mistakes which led to the severity of post-Ike damage in the Houston/Galveston area. Not one reporter has investigated the failures in response of CenterPoint, the electrical distribution organization which distributes the power made by Reliant. Reliant kept on making electricity, but CenterPoint wasn't distributing it, so the center of the city, the heart of its commercial and business activity, was powerless for 12 days in our area, up to 14 days in contiguous areas.

Now The Chronicle is doing a superficial round-up story in the 'ain't-it-awful' mode, on how people suffered during and after Ike, without looking in-depth at why they suffered losses and how to prevent it happening again. That's not worthy of the only daily newspaper in the fourth largest city in America.
