Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Becks and Savages

Beck destroys ACORN spokesman.


Whether or not folks such as Glenn Beck or Michael Savage or Ann Coulter are your cup of tea, we all benefit from having them around to defend the perimeter of what is sayable and thinkable.

Beck is a sissy boy who would surrender to Hussein should he be commanded.

I use to think he's a girl but most girls are smarter than he.

So, me thinks, he is a boy, who may be protected species under new hate crimes legislation floating about DC.

Really.

The girly-boy use to be a tad amusing when pontificating about Isklam even though he didn't know much about it.

But hey, Islam is always a great butt for a joke.

When he came up crying after his unfulfilling scrape with a gaggle of nurses me took to thinking he was a girl.

He's a fat whore like Limbaugh and I apologize to the ladies if they ever felt denigrated that one could mistake their sex with fatboys.

Sticking to the past only... what would you choose for your perfect time... what particular moment in the history of man do you think most closely resembles your ideal state of existence for humankind? Or is it only your demented vision of 'your' ideal future that drives your comments?

Beck is a fake. Thru and thru. Most of the time he's selling gold, and fear, and lies, and Fox.

Savage is the only honest man on radio. Period. I don't care if you love or hate him. He speaks the truth as he sees it, doesn't pander, and in my opinion is TOO honest for most Americans, strike that, humans. People like the fairy tales their lives have become.

No wonder they always say "I am a conservative and I hate Savage". Uh, huh. Liar. You like your little day dream and think more politeness will win the race. Hello McDole. It's long time past the need to shed the D vs. R mentality. What's right is right. The labels are part of the puppet show. Keeping the man down with divide and conquer.

Coulter I would love to meet at a Sweedish MILF/Cougar Specialty Karaoke, (Chinese style karaoke my friends, oh, YEAH...) and she can be the mammasan come out of retirement just for me.

Beck reminds me of a Baptist preacher. I think he's sincere, but he likes to be a bit of a flamboyant populist.

I don't know about Savage, my hunch is he's somewhat sincere, but mostly a rabble rouser who likes to push the envelope to drive his ratings and support his personna. I don't trust him.

I like all three. Bottom line they are all entertainer's, good ones at that .
I would believe them before I'd trust any newspaper,or any of the major news outlets. I agree with Phil about Savage. he is the wild card of the bunch; raw and always pushing the envelope. I think that's why "they" tried to pull a litmus test on him with the "Fairness Doctrine" in England.
I don't think Beck is a fake. He loves this country as much as we do at this site.
Ann, can rumble with the best of them, reminds me of Meta smart, articulate ,and doesn't back down.
I like Malkin and Hume too.

I have listened to Lars locally for over a decade. The guy is totally consistent, if anything. And NOT a fake. Very, Very good on the 2nd. Amen.

I normally find Beck a little too wrapped up in himself and addicted to cheap drama, but his style worked perfectly for that vile little piece of trash from ACORN. I've seen Levensen interviewed before; he simply rolled over the interviewer and refused to answer questions. I appreciated Beck's total refusal to give into to him for once.
